Summer Enrichment Program for Students in K – 9th Grade
Objective: The summer enrichment program is a four-week program designed to eliminate summer learning loss and help close the academic achievement gap for children who participate. Students will be ready to learn when they return to school in September. The program offers daily activities and a weekly enrichment trip that is aligned with the curriculum. Research shows that students typically score lower on standardized tests at the summer of vacation than they do on the same tests at the beginning of summer.
