The family of Anthony Resti have established a scholarship to be known as the Anthony Resti Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship will be available for Hancock Central School students, through the Hancock Community Education Foundation.
This scholarship fund will be for Hancock Central School graduates, with preference to a student who is continuing their education in the field of Alcohol & Drug Abuse Studies or Addictions Counseling, Environmental Education, or a student accepted to AmeriCorps
Anthony was a graduate of Hancock Central School and attended Northampton Community College. He worked for Leeward Construction, volunteered for AmeriCorps in Maine, and at the time of his death he was employed at Clarke Environmental Services in Florida.
Anthony loved his friends and family unconditionally! His smile could light a room and everyone who ever met Anthony knew immediately that this smart, handsome guy had a heart of gold! Unfortunately, on December 16, 2014, Anthony lost his battle with addiction. His family would like to honor Anthony’s memory by providing his scholarship to an HCS student going into the field of Alcohol & Drug Abuse studies or Addictions Counseling.
